the legend
The City of the Caesars:
The Legend that Breathes Through the Mist
In the heart of Chilean Patagonia, surrounded by ancient forests and rivers that mirror the southern light, lives the legend of the City of the Caesars, a mythical place said to hold gold, faith, and healing powers.
For centuries, explorers, Jesuit monks, and wanderers have searched for it across valleys and mountains shrouded in mist. Some claim the city is protected by spirits or revealed only to those who truly believe. Hidden from the world, it remains a bridge between the visible and the invisible, between dream and reality.
Though its location has never been proven, the legend continues to echo through Patagonian culture, a timeless reminder that there are still mysteries waiting to be discovered, and that sometimes, the greatest treasures are not found on maps.

Tasting Notes

It presents a beautiful golden color, translucent, flawless, and free of impurities. On the nose, it bursts with a note of vanilla, likely derived from the blend of barrels: American oak, French oak, and Carménère wine casks. That vanilla note evokes slow-cooked desserts, those that develop deep and complex aromas over time and heat. There is also a woody component, not sharp, that unfolds and defines itself elegantly, almost like a wood profile leaning toward incense, even comparable to the Mizunara-style casks used in Japanese whiskies.
Subtle, semi-fruity notes emerge, reminiscent of winter citrus: plenty of orange, a touch of grapefruit, but predominantly orange. There is also something distinctive that evokes white pepper. The overall aroma is enveloping, with soft hints of honey and caramel, refined and discreet, never dominant.
On the palate, despite its 44% alcohol content, it is remarkably elegant. The winter citrus profile, especially orange, stands out strongly in harmony with the nose.

It does not have a long finish, but its entry is intense, full of character and balance. It lingers in the mouth, not as a burning sensation, but as an explosion of flavor that truly captivates.
The interplay between the woods is especially appealing, revealing the influence of American and French oak and, particularly, the Carménère wine cask, which brings remarkable balance and unity. The fourteen classic botanicals of gin remain present, seven of them sourced directly from Patagonia. The high-quality juniper expresses itself with subtlety yet with character, reminding us that this is still a gin — an aged gin that manages to preserve its elegance after two years in mixed barrels.
It is truly enchanting, both in flavor and aroma, with an impressive color that reflects exceptional craftsmanship born in one of the most remote and awe-inspiring places on Earth: Patagonia.
