In March, we lived an unforgettable experience in the heart of Patagonia, a moment where nature, origin, and emotion came together in a way that is hard to put into words. We were invited by Mañío Bodas to take part in the first Fam Trip specialized in romance tourism in the Aysén region, an initiative developed together with Hotel Loberías del Sur, bringing together professionals from the wedding and celebration industry to discover firsthand the landscapes, experiences, and services that make this territory an extraordinary place to celebrate love.

For us, it was a key opportunity to present our products to relevant industry players, open conversations, and explore future collaborations, in a context where origin, authenticity, and sensory experience take center stage. Tepaluma is not just a spirit, it is an invitation to connect with the deepest essence of Patagonia, and moments like this allow us to share that spirit with those who create unforgettable experiences for others.
The journey began early in the morning from Puerto Chacabuco, aboard the Aysén catamaran, navigating through fjords, mountains, and the kind of silence that only exists in this part of the world. Upon reaching the majestic Laguna San Rafael, we transferred to a small boat to get closer to the towering glacier wall, a living natural spectacle in constant movement, where the sound of the ice and the purity of the surroundings create a profound sense of awe, there we carried our bottles to photograph them in a setting that perfectly reflects the wild spirit that inspires us.
In this setting, we served Tepaluma Aged Gin with millenary ice to all passengers, using fragments of the glacier itself, preserved for centuries. We shared the story, process, and key characteristics of this spirit, defined by its complexity, smoothness, and depth, qualities that bring it closer to the world of whisky and represent a natural evolution of our journey as a distillery. The reception was extraordinary, creating a genuine moment of connection where each sip seemed to deepen the experience of the place. It was also a deeply emotional moment.
“It’s impressive and deeply moving to see ourselves here after such a long journey, so much sacrifice… sometimes we normalize the path, but it’s important to pause, look back, and reflect on everything we’ve lived, it has been fantastic.” Andrea Zavala, co-founder of the brand.

Her words captured the essence of that moment, where nearly 10 years of effort, sacrifice, and joy came together in a powerful setting, presenting the product closest to whisky, the original dream that brought the founders to this remote corner of the world, all of which was captured in a reel available in this article.
The return in the afternoon turned into a spontaneous celebration filled with energy, joy, and connection among all participants, reinforcing the value of sharing, celebrating, and creating meaningful experiences. We reaffirm our commitment to the territory and to those who make it possible, we deeply thank Mañío Bodas and everyone involved for their passion and vision in positioning Aysén Patagonia as a unique destination for these kinds of encounters, and we remain open, with enthusiasm and conviction, to all the moments yet to come.
