In November 2025, we experienced one of the most meaningful nights in Tepaluma’s history. The launch of Tepaluma Gin Aged “Spirit of the Caesars”, held together with Gran Calafate, not only marked the official unveiling of our very first aged gin, but also became a deeply significant moment for our community. Surrounded by cocktails, conversations, and emotion, we wanted that evening to leave behind more than just memories.

That is why we organized a charity auction for Bottle No. 1 from the first limited edition of Tepaluma® Gin Aged, donating the proceeds to the Puyuhuapi Commercial District Recycling Point, an organization actively working toward responsible recycling and sustainable waste management within the community.

This initiative is made possible through the joint efforts of the Commercial District and Reciclajes Martino, the company responsible for integrated waste services and the management of solid and inorganic waste, allowing different materials to be properly processed and recycled throughout the region. At that time, the organization was led by Mrs. Juana Altamirano, who spearheaded important environmental and community initiatives in the area.

The bottle was auctioned to our friends at DAKKO Sushi, from Chile Chico, who generously joined this cause and directly supported this local initiative through an act of remarkable generosity.

We remember with great affection the words of Juana Altamirano, who sincerely thanked Tepaluma for supporting both the Commercial District and the Puyuhuapi Recycling Point.

“We are deeply grateful for this contribution and for the commitment shown by companies like Tepaluma, who actively engage with community organizations and environmental care. We are always available to receive recyclable materials, especially glass and other waste that can be responsibly managed. Initiatives like this create a very meaningful collaboration between businesses and the community,” she shared.

For us, these words represent exactly the kind of Patagonia we dream of building: one where development, sustainability, and collaboration move forward together.

As a distillery located on the Carretera Austral, we understand that protecting this territory is not just an idea, but a daily responsibility. That is why we remain committed to supporting local initiatives that promote recycling, collaboration, and the preservation of one of the most extraordinary places on Earth.

Today, as we look back on that night in November 2025, we feel proud not only of launching a new spirit, but also of making a small yet meaningful contribution to the people working every day toward a more conscious and sustainable Patagonia.
