The Summer That Reaffirmed Our Purpose.

Summer 2026 began quietly. January brought high temperatures, yet the rhythm was slow, serene, almost introspective. Patagonia moved at its own pace and so did we. Then February shifted the energy: even longer days, clear skies, and those sunsets only Aysén knows how to gift. With them came renewed movement, visits, conversations, and that special vibration created when people choose to travel to the end of the world to discover a real story.

At Tepaluma Distillery, we experienced a beautiful, intense, and deeply meaningful season. Our home along the Carretera Austral came alive once again. We welcomed curious travelers, loyal customers, new friends, and entire families who wanted to see firsthand how distillation happens in one of the most challenging and pristine territories on the planet. Every person who crossed our door brought something: a question, a smile, a conversation that lasted longer than expected, a shared toast overlooking the forest.

Our bar became the setting for memorable afternoons. Gin and tonics, mules, and negronis flowed unhurriedly, accompanied by stories, laughter, and contemplative silences beneath the golden evening light. Many chose to take our bottles home to extend the experience, and this season also brought a special milestone: the arrival of our aged gin, a numbered, exclusive edition available only in the Aysén Region. Watching those bottles leave in the hands of people who value time, patience, and the character behind each one was among the summer’s greatest satisfactions.

Tours, as always, held a special place. Walking with you through the distillery, explaining our processes, and sharing the artisanal care and technical precision behind every distillation reaffirms why we chose this path. It is not simply about producing gin; it is about conveying a way of doing things, sharing knowledge, and opening our doors wholeheartedly. The reaction of those discovering the process for the first time reminds us that authenticity always finds its place.

We close this season with deep gratitude and renewed conviction. This summer gave us more than strong February numbers; it reminded us that constant effort, coherence, and commitment to our territory build something that transcends a single season. We are thankful, yes, but also energized. This year will bring new products, new activations, journeys, and surprises that we will announce in due time. We continue working with the same passion that brought us here, our feet firmly planted in Patagonia and our eyes set on the future.

March still offers the opportunity to meet. During this month, we will be open Monday through Saturday, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, for those who wish to experience it firsthand. The distillery remains active, and the Patagonian forest continues to be one of our greatest inspirations.

Thank you for being part of this summer. Thank you for visiting, for choosing us, and for sharing what we do. We invite you to continue living joyfully, enjoying our products passionately, and sharing them generously. The Spirit of the Forest does not fade with the season; it carries forward into everything that lies ahead.
